2nd Annual RAPIDS | Immuno-Dermatology Conference

Omni | Fort Lauderdale, FL

Friday, April 24 – Tackling Complex Disease & Patient Care

Friday began with Dr. Jennifer Hsiao, who delivered a comprehensive look at immune dysregulation in hidradenitis suppurativa, followed by a second session on managing complex and refractory cases of the disease.

After breakfast and a coffee break, the focus shifted to symptom science and chronic conditions. Dr. Gil Yosipovitch explored the immunology of itch, offering both mechanistic insight and clinical relevance. Dr. Payel Gupta followed with a session on chronic spontaneous urticaria, highlighting evolving therapeutic approaches.

Midday featured a SkinSync Live panel discussion with Eileen Cheever, PA-C, and Buchi Neita, PA-C, on barrier repair and the role of modern topical therapies in dermatologic care, bringing the live discussion format to one of the conference's most clinically practical topics. Lunch provided a reset before the afternoon sessions.

The program continued with Dr. Gil Yosipovitch, who returned to discuss atopic dermatitis, breaking down immune pathways, phenotypes, and new treatment directions. He later joined Dr. Payel Gupta for a case-based discussion on complex patients with overlapping atopic and allergic conditions.

The day concluded with Dr. Payel Gupta presenting on allergy testing in dermatology, helping clinicians better interpret and apply diagnostic tools in practice. Evening programming included a dinner session for continued learning and discussion.
