- The most common dermatoscopic feature of amelanotic melanoma is atypical vascular structures.
- Dermoscopy patterns seen in melanoma include atypical network, negative network, angulated lines, atypical dots and globules, atypical streaks, peripheral brown structureless areas, multiple small hyperpigmented areas, atypical blotches, increased skin markings, regression structures, crystalline or shiny white structures, and atypical vascular patterns.
- Angulated pigmented lines are more common in melanoma on the head and neck.
