Conference Policies & Procedures
Attendance & Registration Policy: All Elevate-Derm Conference attendees must be licensed healthcare providers or members of industry, 18 years of age or older, and must be registered as attending the meeting to be admitted.
Event Cancellation & Refund Policy: A $50.00 cancellation fee will be charged for all registrations canceled 30 days prior to the conference start date. There will be no refunds for cancellations made within 30 days of conference start dates, including no-shows at the conference.
Cancellation notifications should be sent to Elevate-Derm Conference: 5437 Bowman Rd., Suite 120-105 Macon, GA 31210, or by email to [email protected]. Attendees are responsible for canceling their lodging reservations directly with the hotel. Refunds will be processed within thirty (30) days of written cancellation.
Conference organizers reserve the right to cancel the meeting up to four (4) weeks prior to the event. In the event of cancellation, conference organizers cannot be responsible for reimbursement of airline fees and other accommodation expenses.
Non-Discrimination Policy: All attendees, speakers, sponsors, and volunteers at our conference are required to adhere by the following code of conduct. All individuals will help to ensure a safe environment. Our conference provides a harassment-free experience for all in attendance regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion or belief, or technology choices. We do not tolerate harassment of conference participants, speakers, staff, volunteers, or anyone present in any form. Conference participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the conference without a refund at the discretion of the conference organizers.
Consent to Photographing & Recording: I grant permission to Elevate-Derm Conference and its agents and employees the irrevocable and unrestricted right to reproduce the photographs and/or video images taken of me, for the purpose of publication, promotion, illustration, advertising, or trade, in any manner or in any medium. I hereby release Elevate-Derm Conference and its legal representatives for all claims and liability relating to said images or video. Furthermore, I grant permission to use my statements that were given during an interview or guest lecture, with or without my name, for the purpose of advertising and publicity without restriction. I waive my right to any compensation.
Meals Policy for HCP Registrants: The conference registration fee includes breakfast, lunch, and coffee breaks for HCP registrants only, as detailed in the Conference Agenda. All meals will be provided by pharmaceutical or other industry as part of product theaters or other sponsorships. It is the responsibility of the participant to know their state laws and employer regulations regarding acceptance of meals and gifts. Conference registrants should not participate in the meals if they are barred from accepting meals and gifts (inclusive of certain thresholds) provided by the pharmaceutical and/or other industry by their employer and/or state licensing board. Elevate-Derm Conference cannot provide separate meals for participants who do not attend product theaters, and participants will need to make their own meal arrangements.
Special Meal Requests: The conference makes every effort to provide a variety of food choices available for our attendees, however, we are unable to accommodate specific dietary restriction accommodations. Attendees with specific dietary restrictions/preferences should plan accordingly for their own meal needs.
Session Photography and/or Video Recording Policy: Photography and/or video recording of any kind are strictly prohibited in the conference sessions and breakout sessions/workshops. Violators of this policy are subject to ejection from the Conference and refunds will not be issued.
