Series Description: This 3- part series will provide expert insight on how to incorporate systemic treatments when managing adult patients with moderate to severe atopic dermatitis. Our panelists share their viewpoints on measuring disease severity, the roles of IgE testing, patch testing and biopsy when evaluating a patient with atopic disease. Additionally they highlight the changing landscape of therapeutic options and provide an efficacy and safety overview of the newest additions to our treatment toolbox including: two monoclonal antibodies, the JAK inhibitors as well as older therapeutics. This series will leave you feeling more confident about your utilization of systemic treatment options for your adult patients with moderate to severe atopic dermatitis.    

Information About the Panelists:

Alexandra Golant, MD and Marc Serota, MD join Veronica Richardson, ANP-BC, DCNP for the educational video series. Dr. Golant is the Medical Director of the Dermatology Faculty Practice and the Program Director of the Dermatology Residency Program at Mount Sinai. Dr. Serota is triple board certified in dermatology, allergy/asthma/immunology, and pediatrics and currently practices in Denver, Colorado. Veronica Richardson is a Dermatology certified Nurse Practitioner who has been practicing in medical dermatology for the past 12 years in an academic dermatology practice in Philadelphia, PA.
